With these words the life of Kurt Cobain ended who was made against will the language pipe of a whole generation.

Kurt Cobain was born as the first child on 20. February 1967. He grew up in the town Aberdeen. The city is because of the Pacific coast of the US Federal State Washington is surround by the forest.

Kurt Cobain began to show already with two years interest in music, what actually not is surprising, since a majority of the family is very musical.

In the year 1975, when Kurt Cobain was straight eight years old, his parents Don and Wendy Cobain let themselves be separated. In the following years Cobain suffered much from the separation of his parents.

In the meantime also the Punk skirt became large and Cobain liked the new sound. Briefly before his conclusion Cobain left the High school. Kurt Cobain became acquainted with Krist Novoselic by a friend. Together with Novoselic he decided to create a band. The band was called Nirvana however not from the outset but had some different names such as Ted, OD, Fred or Stiff Woodies.

In the September 1987, Kurt had a very extensive Song repertoire and he and Chris already employed Aaron Burckhard as Drummer.

Kurt, Chris and Aaron had the various short-lived names for their band fully and one agreed finally on Nirvana. Likewise in this year Kurt began to save money, in order to be able to take up a professional demo volume. One, still quite the few concert visitors of Nirvana, was a disk jockey and a journalist, named Bruce Pavitt, the later Boss of Sub Pop, Nirvanas first label.

At the beginning of 1988 left Burckhard the band and Dale Crover replaced him. With the money that they had borrowed themselves from a friend, it booked Nirvana 6 hours in the Reciprocal studios in Seattle. Three of the ten numbers, which took up it there on 23 January ' 88, published on Nirvana of first LP, the others on the retrospective Sample Incesticide. Already this early Songs witnessed clearly from Cobain's to steadfast faith that he had to say something to the world.

Toward end of the yearly Sub Pop Nirvana brought first single out: ' Love Buzz '/' Big Cheese '. In the following months Cobain became ever more popular as Songwriter and a singer from Nirvana. His band buddy stood nearly completely in the shade.

Humans, those with the world were dissatisfied loved Grunge, loved Nirvana.

Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic find for numerous Drummer change finally the drummer after them so long looked: Dave Grohl.

On 30 April 1991 those signs band officially with Geffen record. The band decided for Geffen, since with this label also the band is Sonic Youth, with which Nirvana was well friendly.

The album Nevermind was published in September 1991. Cobain expected however that Nevermind comes into the Top 40 of the alternative Charts. When first single one thought, publishes themselves one "Smells Like Teen Spirit", which happened also in such a way then. Briefly on it then "Come As You Are" should be published as single around the band in the footlights to bring. However for this already the "Smells Like Teen Spirit"- single was much enough.

Surprising way reached the album Nevermind in January 1992 place 1 in the Billboard Charts. In a club in Los Angeles Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love meet again. The two already learned themselves 1989 in a club in haven country to know. In February 1992 the two marry on Hawaii.

On 15 December 1992 Geffen published the 3. Nirvana- album, Incesticide.

The fourth Album was taken up in February 93. in the Pahyderm of studios to Minnesota.

The work title of this new LP from Kurt, who became ever more dissatisfied with himself and with the world: 'I hate myself and I want to die'. Before "in Utero" appeared, Geffen already drums on the boost for a further Nevermind.

On 21 September 1993 "in Utero" one published. The fourth album of Nirvana reached place 1 in the Charts. From the 'Serve the Servants' up to the 'universe Apologies' is in Utero only one side blow against the critics Nirvanas, full biting allusions on the 'Insider sources in such a way specified', which had pulled in the media over Cobain.

In the evening 18 Nirvana a Unplugged- session in New York played November 1993. The concert was transferred live to MTV. The album "Unplugged" in New York appeared one year later in the shops, Cobain should this however no more experience. On 1 March 1994 Nirvana in the terminal Einz in Munich played. It should be their last show at all.

On 3 March Cobain took again an overdose. His management put this incident as accident. On 5 April 1994 Cobain in the area over the garage barricaded himself, wrote a farewell letter, injected himself an overdose heroin, took himself the run of the shotgun into the mouth and operated the departure. Only on 8 April, three days later, an electrician found his corpse.
